70 year old Teresa “Terri” Meharg was last seen on July 12, 2026 in south Macon, Georgia. She disappeared after driving away from Blossom Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center at 12:00 am.
Disappearance
At 12:00 am on July 12, 2026, Teresa Meharg was seen driving away from her job at Blossom Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center (formerly known as Fountain Blue Rehab & Nursing) in Macon, Georgia.
Surveillance video shows her driving off alone in her black Jeep Patriot SUV with license plate SAB 1703.
At 12:48 am, she was captured entering Interstate 75 South from Eisenhower Parkway. There have been no sightings since.
Eisenhower Parkway is in the opposite direction of her normal route home to Houston County.
Teresa’s purse, cellphone and wallet were later found inside the administrator’s office at the medical facility. It was also determined that Teresa clocked into work that day, but never officially clocked out.
It is believed she may have suffered a medical emergency.
According to her daughter, Teresa has several medical conditions including diabetes, high blood pressure and a history of transient ischemic attacks, also known as mini-strokes.
Investigation
Cameras from the medical facility show Teresa sitting outside the medical facility falling asleep on a bench around 11:00 pm on July 12, 2026. She also reportedly told a coworker she was waiting for her daughter to pick her up, which was not true.
Searches for Teresa and her vehicle have been conducted between Interstate 75 at Eisenhower Parkway and Centerville, as well as at nearby churches, motels, hospitals, and parking areas. No further clues as to her whereabouts have been found.
Teresa has relatives in the Lake City and Live Oak areas of Florida, and could have possibly traveled there if confused.
Teresa Found Deceased
On July 25, 2026, Teresa was found deceased inside her vehicle on Gunn Road near Madison Place Parkway. It appears as if the car crashed into a ditch.
Her body will be taken to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.
Preliminary autopsy results were inconclusive as to the cause of death. Investigators are still waiting on toxicology reports and further testing before an official cause of death is determined.
Appearance
Teresa has light brown hair, brown eyes, stands 5’7 tall, and weighs 175 pounds.
