37 year old Krista Hunt was last seen in Concrete, Washington on January 25, 2026. She disappeared after the truck she was riding in ran out of gas.
Disappearance
On January 25, 2026, Krista Hunt was last seen with a man believed to be her boyfriend in Concrete, Washington.
According to Krista’s mother, the couple got into a truck and ran out of gas near the Lone Star restaurant. Krista allegedly got out to walk away, and hasn’t been seen since.
Krista was officially reported missing to the Skagit County Sheriff’s Office on February 1, 2026.
Investigation
Krsita’s mother says her daughter’s boyfriend was abusive, and claims that she took her to the hospital a few weeks before her disappearance where she was treated for a broken leg.
Two days after Krista was reported missing her boyfriend shot himself at a bar in Concrete. He survived.
Investigators have not publicly named the boyfriend as a suspect, but say the investigation into her disappearance is ‘very active.’
Remains Found Along Skagit River
On March 12, 2026, Krista’s remains were found along the Skagit River, just east of Concrete near milepost 90.
The cause and manner of death remains under investigation.
Concerte Man Charged With Murder
On March 20, 2026, 42 year old Juan Delgado Jr. was charged with second degree murder in connection with the disappearance and death of Krista Hunt.
Delgado reportedly told friends she was hit by a car, but investigators say that is unsubstantiated.
Investigators found her blood and hair inside Delgado’s truck. After she disappeared he reportedly tried to take his own life and told police he “missed Krista.”
Delgado appeared in Skagit County Superior Court yesterday where his bail was set at $1 million. He was already in jail for prior charges related to possession of an explosive device.
