38 year old Blake Hansel was last seen in Covington, Iowa on October 25, 2025. He was last seen on Michael Road around 2:00 am.
Disappearance
At approximately 2:00 am on October 25, 2025, Blake Hansel was last known to be on Michael Road in the Covington/Palo area of Iowa. He hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
Search teams found his backpack near Bird Lane, and have been focusing their attention on the fields in the area.
Body Found
Blake’s body was recovered from the Cedar River on October 29, 2025, several miles upstream from the Ellis boat ramp.
A cause of death has not yet been determined, but authorities do not consider it suspicious at this time.
Appearance
White male with red hair and blue eyes. Blake stands 6’1 tall and weighs 210 pounds.
Clothing & Accessories:
Blake was last seen wearing a hoodie, grey sweatpants, and a yellow hat.
